Mt. Huangshan

I made this ink landscape of Mount Huangshan using Chinese ink painting techniques with black ink and water on paper. I was inspired by other classical Chinese ink landscape paintings, as well as other paintings made on different parts of Mount Huangshan. I wanted my piece to focus on the atmosphere and have it emphasizing nature, but not focusing on realism, as I wanted the brush strokes and style of the ink to stand out.
